PAPAL VISIT TO PHOENIX PARK SUNDAY 26th AUGUST: Mass with Pope Francis on his last day visit to Ireland. SEE THE POPE IN KNOCKERRA HALL: The World Meeting Of Families is on in August and the Papal Mass from the Phoenix Park on Sunday 26th is one of the highlights of the event. Killimer Parish will have a large screen in Knockerra Hall to view the Mass. This would be an opportunity for all the Community to share this once in a lifetime event in a memorable way. This is open to all neighbouring parishes to join us for this special occasion.

LOURDES AUTUMN PILGRIMAGE: Due to great demand for the Autumn pilgrimage a second aircraft has been secured for the Autumn Pilgrimage on Sunday 7th October returning Friday 12th October €679 pps with €10 discount for online booking to

KILMIHIL G.A.A./PARISH LOTTO: There was no Jackpot winner last week. Numbers: 1, 3, 16 & 24. Next week’s jackpot will be €5,200. The draw will take place Tuesday 7th August at the Crossroad’s bar.

KILMIHIL FESTIVAL OF FUN: Anyone who wants to help out Kilmihil Festival of Fun in any way should please contact any of the committee members. Check Kilmihil Festival of Fun face book page for updated list of events and times.

FESTIVAL OF FUN: The Annual Kilmihil Festival of Fun is on this week-end. Warm big welcome to all and particular to all who have come to Kilmihil for the Festival – we hope you have an enjoyable stay. The Festival takes a lot of planning, organising and hard. Thanks to the committee and all who help.

CLUB LEABHAR CHILL MHÍCHÍL: Kilmihil Irish Language Book Club, will be launched at Kilmihil Community Centre on 6th August 2018 at 12 noon.

KILMIHIL COMMUMNITY WALK AND CYCLE: on Sunday 12th August at 2pm friends of late Steve Reynolds will cycle from Community Centre Kilmihil to Cappa Kilrush and back. At the same time Steve’s Family and friends will walk the “Slí Na Sláinte” route. Anybody who would like to join them would be more than welcome. Tea and coffee afterwards in: Kilmihil Community Centre.

ROSE OF CLARE FESTIVAL: Local girl Shauna Hehir will be representing Kilmihil in the annual Rose of Clare Festival held in Cooraclare/Cree. Interviews of the Roses take place on Tues. 7th Aug. and Wed. 8th Aug. Shauna will be interviewed on stage by Colm O'Connor on Wednesday 8th August at 8:30 pm. Tickets: call 087 9111941.
