Items for inclusion in the parish newsletter should be submitted by 12pm on the Thursday before publication is due. Items can be emailed or dropped into the Parish Office in the Meadow Centre.

KILMIHIL G.A.A./PARISH LOTTO: There was no Jackpot winner last week. Numbers: 6, 19, 24 & 27. Next week’s jackpot will be €5,000. The draw will take place Sunday 29th July at Daly’s.

INVITATION: to all babies born between January 2017 & July 2018 whose parents live in, or are from Kilmihil. This is an invitation to attend a “First Gathering” at our August 5th Bank Holiday Mass where you may receive a special blessing and will be included in a group photograph, entitled – 2017/18 New Generation. Hopefully in Aug. 2023 you will return for another group photograph so that we can see how much you have grown in the meantime. FESTIVAL OF FUN: Following on from last week’s feedback the Festival of Fun has given €50 prize for the best scarecrow in the Festival parade. Everyone is encouraged to take part in the parade. The Festival committee are appealing for help from everyone all over the weekend. Give your name into Johnston’s or Fitzpatrick’s ASAP please. DAN O HALLORAN 9th ANNUAL MEMORIAL: takes place next Sat. 4th August - 5k Walk/Run at 2 pm - 30K Cycle at 1pm - categories: Men & Women, over 40 & 50 - Boys & Girls U10,12,14 &16 - - Registration from 12noon in Community Centre. ROSE OF CLARE FESTIVAL: Local girl Shauna Hehir will be representing Kilmihil in the annual Rose of Clare Festival held in Cooraclare/Cree from Saturday 4th August until Friday August 10th August. Interviews of the Roses take place on Tuesday 7th August and Wednesday 8th August. Shauna will be interviewed on stage by Colm O'Connor on Wednesday 8th August at 8:30 pm.
