Friday 6th is the First Friday:  there will be exposition of the Blessed Sacrament starting at 10am and finishing before 7pm Mass.

THE WORLD MEETING OF FAMILIES: Icon will visit the Killaloe Diocese in the  following parishes: Kilkee Church July 2nd – 5th, Ennis Cathedral July 5th – 9th.

IN CONNECTION WITH THE WORLD MEETING OF FAMILIES: at the end of August you are invited to bring your petitions of prayer for your families and place them into the special box provided here in our church over the coming weeks. These petitions will be transferred to the special petition box for the Killaloe Diocese which will be present when Pope Francis celebrates Mass at the Phoenix Park.  

 

THE WORLD MEETING OF FAMALIES: “with The world meeting of families taking place on the 21st – 26th August 2018, the pastoral council as part of the celebrations, would like to bring together our community in pictures. Share with us what family means to you in a photo.  Drop in your chosen picture to the parish office. Please do not drop in originals as they may not be returned”

                                                                                                                    

KILLALOE DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE TO  OUR LADY’S SHRINE KNOCK:  will take place on Sunday 29th July 2018.   Bus leaves Kilmihil at 8:30am.  Please give your names to Bridget Kenny: 065 9050731 /085 273 7604 or Angela O’Connell.

 

CHRISTMAS PILGRIMAGE GROUP TO THE HOLY LAND:   Ex Dublin 19th – 27th December 2018 Trace the Footsteps of Jesus, taking in Bethlehem, Jerusalem (Mount of Olives, Garden of Gethsemane, Last Supper Room and Calvary), Mount Tabor, Cana, Nazareth, etc Contact James Treacy 061 921470 or 086 0572216. Payments can be made in instalments.

 

KILMIHIL G.A.A./PARISH LOTTO:   There was no Jackpot winner last week. Numbers: 4, 5, 14 & 18.  Next week’s jackpot will be €4,200. The draw will take place Sunday 24th June at Daly’s.

 

20th ANNUAL WEST CLARE MINI MARATHON:  the organisers of the 20th Annual West Clare Mini Marathon which took place on Sunday 25th February wish to sincerely thank the walkers, runners, sponsors, stewards, bus drivers & everyone who supported the event in any way.  The amount raised was €38,643.
