KILLALOE DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE TO OUR LADY’S SHRINE KNOCK: will take place on Sunday 29th July 2018. Bus leaves Kilmihil at 8:30am. Please give your names to Bridget Kenny: 065 9050731 /085 273 7604 or Angela O’Connell as soon as possible.

KILLALOE DIOCESE PILGRIMAGE TO LOURDES: Bishop Fintan Monahan will lead the 62nd Diocesan pilgrimage to Lourdes from Shannon Airport on Tuesday 26th June returning on Sunday 1st July. €695 full board or €705 for paper booking. Full details Fr Tom Ryan 061-364133.

NURSES FOR LOURDES: the Annual Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes: needs nurses to help with the sick during this year’s pilgrimage from 26th June to 1st July. Retired or Active nurses are equally welcome and will help to give the Sick a memorable experience. If you would like to volunteer please contact Michael on 086 381 3677.

ORDINATION OF MARTIN SHANAHAN: Sunday 3rd June in the Parish Church of Mullagh, Martin Shanahan will be ordained to the Priesthood for serving in the Diocese of Killaloe by Bishop Fintan Monahan. Martin has spent the past year on Pastoral placement in Ennis parish where we have come to know and love him. It’s a great joy for both Martin and his son Eoin and his circle of family and friends. We wish him well and great fulfilment in his new, chosen life.

KILMIHIL G.A.A./PARISH LOTTO: There was no Jackpot winner last week. Numbers: 7, 9, 11 & 21. Next week’s jackpot will be €3,400. The draw will take place Sunday 3rd June at the Daly’s.


A visit to Ennis Friary Tour of Ennis Friary showing the recent restoration and the historical and archaeological features. Time permitting there will be a short walk close to friary to view jostle stones and elusive survey marks that have survived. Group admission is €4.
