TRÓCAIRE ANNUAL LENTEN FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN: sincere thanks for your generous support towards Trócaire recent collection. A cheque amounting to:  €1,625 has been sent on your behalf.


NURSES FOR LOURDES:  The Annual Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes needs nurses to help with the Sick during this years pilgrimage from June 26th till July 1st. Retired or Active nurses are equally welcome and will help to give the Sick a memorable experience. If you would like to volunteer please contact Michael on 086 381 3677.

SAFEGUARDING: The appropriate use of Social Media is a growing concern. The Diocesan Safeguarding committee has issued guidance on the Use of Social Media for all Priests and volunteers working with young people in the Diocese. A copy of this can be found  at  and click the safeguarding tab


KILMIHIL G.A.A./PARISH LOTTO:   There was no Jackpot winner last week. Numbers:  2, 3, 9 & 27.  Next week’s jackpot will be €3,200. The draw will take place Sunday 27th May at the D. Breen’s


CLARE 250 MILE CYCLE:  thanks to the people of Kilmihil for your support last weekend from the Kilmihil 250 cycling team: Lisa Glynn, Darragh O’Connell, Allyn Dalton and John Dalton. 


COMMUNITY GAMES:  Many thanks to all the athletes who took part in the Area trials on Monday, 7th May – great to see all the young children taking part. County Athletics Finals are on Sunday 24th June @ Lee’s Road, Ennis (first & second place winner qualify for finals) more details to follow on this.  Best of Luck to Darragh Connors (3rd Class) and David Collins (5th Class) both representing Kilmihil and Clare at the National Finals this Sun. in UL.

Variety Show Put on your dancing shoes, the West Clare Family Resource Centre is bringing you to the Bealtaine Tea Dance in Glór, Ennis on Wednesday 30th May. Free bus departing at 1 pm from Kilrush Community Centre, back around 5.15 pm. Booking required and limited spaces available! Outing made possible by Clare County Council. TO CLOSE THE BEALTAINE FESTIVAL:  we are hosting a Variety Show on Thursday 31st May from 2 to 4 pm. Whether you would like to perform or you simply want to enjoy a good local show, make sure you join us for a fun afternoon. Free admission and refreshments.
