THE WORLD MEETING OF FAMILIES: takes place in Ireland this year, the highlight being the visit of Pope Francis in August. Here in the Diocese of Killaloe there will a Family Picnic Day on Sunday, May 6th as part of our celebrations. The venue will be the Showgrounds in Ennis and it will run from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm. This will be a free event with lots of things for children to do and lots of music and entertainment for all ages. Bring your own picnic and there will be prizes for the best. No BBQ’S allowed.”


KILMIHIL G.A.A./PARISH LOTTO: There was no Jackpot winner last week. Numbers: 7, 8, 10 & 18. Next week’s jackpot will be €2,200. The draw will take place Sunday 22nd April at the Fiddlehead.


THE CONFITEOR: I confess to almighty God, and to you, my brothers and sisters, that I have sinned through my own fault, in my thoughts and in my words, in what I have done, and in what I have failed to do; and I ask blessed Mary, ever virgin, all the angels and saints, and you, my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the Lord our God.

PRAYER FOR FORGIVENESS: Oh my God help me to remember the times when I didn’t live as Jesus asked me to. Help me to be sorry and to try again. Amen


ACT OF SORROW: O my God, I thank you for loving me. I am sorry for all my sins, for not loving others and not loving you. Help me to live like Jesus and not sin again, Amen.


PRAYER AFTER FORGIVENESS: O my God thank you for forgiving me. Help me to love others. Help me to live as Jesus asked me to. Amen


FIRST HOLY COMMUNION: Saturday 19th May 2018 at 11am.

KILMIHIL ACTIVE RETIREMENT: Cait Lynch will be providing exercise and relaxation classes at the Meadow - Monday evening 23rd April at 7.30pm. All are welcome.


AFTERNOOON TEA DANCE IN QUILTY: music and dance with ‘Twice Shy’ in Quilty Tavern, on this Sunday 22nd April from 3pm to 6pm. Bus to the dance travelling through, Kilmihil, call West Clare Family Resource Centre 065 9052173.


CHILDMINDER REQUIRED: to mind 3 school going age children in own home, Mon – Fri, must be available to drop children to school and pickup. Full time –requirement, during school holidays. Kilmihil area, please contact 085 165 3188.


KILMIHIL ATHLETIC CLUB: Training Monday & Friday at 6.30 p.m. at St. Michael’s Community College. All are welcome.


HEALTH CARE ASSISTANTS REQUIRED: Full & Part time hours available.
QQI Level 5 in Health Care Support/Community Health or similar. Patient Moving & Handling.
If currently studying for this award, applicants will also be considered. Experience required.

INFORMATION EVENING:
MA in Education & the Well-being of the Older Person
MIC Campus, Limerick
Wednesday, 9 May 2018 - 6-8 pm.
Tara Building, Room T101
Liz Early, programme coordinator, will give a sample lecture and current students and course leaders will attend to share knowledge and experience.
This programme will be of particular interest to those working with older people in society and those interested in the issues presented by an ageing society.
