DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE TO LOURDES  This year’s Diocesan Pilgrimage will leave Shannon on Tuesday June 26th, returning on Sunday July 1st.  €705 per person sharing, €10 discount for online booking at www.joewalshtours.ie. or Telephone: (01) 2410810.  A limited number of sick or assisted pilgrims will be accommodated in the Sanctuary of Lourdes at a cost of €611.  Applications for sick pilgrims only to Fr. KILMIHIL G.A.A./PARISH LOTTO:   There was no Jackpot winner last week. Numbers: 6, 8, 22 & 28.  Next week’s jackpot will be €11,000. The draw will take place Sunday 4th February at D. Breen’s.

ST PATS. SOCCER CLUB:  are on the lookout for new coaches to join the club as they prepare for the schoolboys/girls season which kicks off in March. The club will provide F.A.I. coaching course for anyone interested.  The club would also welcome any new members who wish to join:  boys aged 6 to 16 and girls 9 to 14.  The clubs main aim is the enjoyment of the game for the players.  The club are delighted to report that 3 of our U12 girls and 4 of our U14 girls have been selected on the Clare emerging talent panel. THE  WEST CLARE CANCER CENTRE:  now offers the following services - taxi service for chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatments only, counselling - 4 sessions per person - for patients, family & friends, pilgrimage funding, complementary therapies and palliative aids for home use.                                                                                                                                                                

20th Annual West Clare Mini Marathon has been rescheduled to take place on Sunday 25th February 2018.  Sponsorship cards for the event will be available from the Cancer Centre in Corry Lane, 11-2pm. KILMIHIL: BASIC COMPUTER COURSE:  Learn how to use a computer, tablet or smart phone to access the internet; send and receive emails, book NCT test, book flights and holidays, use skype, f/book, etc.5 weeks course - Wednesday mornings 11am—12.30pm. at St.  Michael’s Community College, Kilmihil in association with West Clare FRC Older Peoples Project. Starting Wednesday 21st Feb. Cost €20.    

 THE THIRTEENTH ANNUAL ‘PATRICIA CORBETT MEMORIAL WALK/RUN’   will be held in Labasheeda on Sunday February 11th. This year we remember Fr. John Kelly RIP who regularly walked the route. The course is 6 miles/10km around Labasheeda peninsula registration from 12 noon and beginning at 12.30pm. Entry fee €10. Proceeds will go towards Sr. Ethel Normoyle’s Missionvale Project, South Africa and Labasheeda Community Centre Development. Light refreshments will be served all are welcome to take part. WEST CLARE FAMILY RESOURCE CENTRE:    Groups Crochet and Knitting Group Monday Afternoons 2.15pm to 3.45pm guide you through knitting, crochet, reading patterns, exchanging patterns etc. The new Seniors Alert Scheme for people wishing to avail of the Personal Alarm (panic button) is administered by the West Clare Family Resource Centre. Other groups include Computer Classes, Go For Life and Sit-Fit Exercise Classes, Cards Game, One-to-One IT Assist for help with your mobile phone, tablet or computer. Monthly Craft Sessions and Monthly Tea Dances. We also offer a low-cost counselling service.
