What's on in Kilmihil

There are things to do in Kilmihil every day and above are just a few of the events, if you are looking for something to do today click here to view What's On.

There are now five graveyards in Kilmihil parish. The extra one is Reilig Nua Meaning “New Graveyard”. The graveyards are maintained by a FAS Group under the leadership of Mary Downes. Over 3000 headstones were examined and the information noted. The task was slow and difficult as many of the headstones were either illegible or had no markings left. Also you must remember that only the writing on the headstone can be recorded here. Our thanks goes to Noleen Cleary. Noreen McGuane, Ann Cahill, and Dolores Murray. who did the work. There may be errors and if you find any please let us know and we will correct them. We hope that that we will have maps of all the graveyards to help people who come to visit. To see the information on all local graveyards click on the graveyard name below.
